Lucy

Lucy is a beautiful Brown tabby and white Domestic Shorthair.  She is very sweet and outgoing.  She enjoys being petted, getting brushed, and receiving attention.

Lucy came to the shelter when her person needed to go into an assisted living facility and could no longer keep her kitties.  Lucy is approximately 11 years old.  Don't let her "senior" status stop you from getting to know her, though.  Here are several great reasons senior cats make perfect companions.  Due to Lucy's "senior" status, she is part of the Perpet-U-Care program, which will pay for a portion of her veterinary care for the rest of her life.

You can get to know Lucy by visiting our shelter.  Lucy is usually hanging out on the front counter in the upstairs hallway or behind it on one of the desks.  Lucy will be looking forward to your visit!

Here are updates on some of our adopted kitties.  I hope you enjoy!

Tara: Beautiful black panther, Tara, who roamed the upstairs hall at the shelter, has finally found a home.  It's reported that Tara is a sweetheart and loves human interaction.

Momo and Tewfluff: Momo and Tewfluff are now known as "Milo" and "Franklin," respectively.  It's reported that they love feather toys and adjusted to their new home fairly quickly.

Frida: Frida is now known as "Luna."  Luna shares her home with a young couple and two other kitties.  Luna is affectionate and likes to suckle fingers.  Her new family reports that she and their younger kitty "sing" duets together.

Braveheart, Cirrus, and Muggins: Sadly, Braveheart went to the Rainbow Bridge due to some health issues, but Mugggins and Cirrus are doing well.  Muggins hates the doorbell, but he likes it when his people sit on the floor with him.  Cirrus is social and likes to entertain visitors.

Ohms and Wind-Up: Ohms is still a little shy and will only eat when Wind-Up is in the room with her.  She is warming up, though.  Wind-Up is more outgoing and really enjoys feather toys and laser lights.  Ohms likes her squeaky mouse.

Gabe: Gabe was adopted by a married couple.  He also shares his home with an older kitty.  Gabe hid under the bed until the other kitty came to "talk" to him.  They enjoy running around and watching birds and squirrels.

Dalton: Dalton is now known as "Oreo."  He loves catnip toys, especially those that look like fish.

Mimi: Mimi is coming out of her shell, and she shares her home with a man who is gentle and patient with her.  She enjoys being petted and sleeping on her new person's bed.

Roxy: Roxy, now known as "Cinnamon," was also adopted.  Cinnamon likes playing with string toys during playtime.

Some of our other adopted cats include:

Jake
Zoe
Coco
Pepper

We wish these kitties and their new families all the best!
