Opt to Adopt Alex and Wyatt

Tuesday, May 26, 2015
Alex

Alex is a mostly black Domestic Mediumhair cat (with a little white patch of fur on his stomach) seeking his forever home.  Alex is friendly and outgoing.  When I visited him, he followed me around the room, giving me headbutts and asking for pets.

Alex is approximately three years old, and he came to the shelter with his best friend, Wyatt, when their owner could no longer care for them.

Wyatt

Wyatt is an adorable flame-point Siamese mix and is Alex's best friend.  Wyatt and Alex must be adopted together.

Wyatt is also friendly, though he is a bit shyer than Alex.  Both Alex and Wyatt get along well with other cats.  In fact, when I visited them, Wyatt groomed another cat in his room.  Both cats also get along with dogs.

Wyatt is approximately three years old.  He and Alex have both been neutered, are up-to-date on vaccinations, and tested negative for FIV and FeLV.

Please come by the shelter to get to know this sweet, affectionate pair of kitties.  You can find them in the Red Room.

Moekie

Moekie is a beautiful dilute toroiseshell Domestic Shorthair hoping to find her forever home.  Moekie is friendly and likes to be pet and get head rubs.  She talks a lot, and is a great conversationalist.  She will gladly share her opinions with you and tell you all about her day.

Moekie came to the shelter when her owner, who was also her best friend, passed away.  Moekie is approximately 13 years old, and she is still quite active and curious.  Due to her status as a "senior" cat, she is part of the Perpet-U-Care program, which will cover a portion of her medical care for the rest of her life.  She is up-to-date on her vaccinations, spayed, and has tested negative for FIV and FeLV.

You can find Moekie in the Red Room at our shelter.  Please come visit with her and allow her to tell you all about herself.

Opt to Adopt Paisley

Paisley

Paisley is a beautiful orange and white mediumhair cat waiting for her forever home at our shelter.  She is affectionate and likes being pet and getting head and ear scratches.  She spends a lot of time in her bed next to the window in Receiving where she can observe all that is going on.  Paisley likes to talk and is an expressive kitty.  If you go into her room and pet another cat, she gets a bit jealous and demands that you pet her, too (which is really adorable).

Paisley is approximately 13 years old.  Due to her status as a "senior" cat, she is part of the Perpet-U-Care program, which will pay for a portion of her medical care for the rest of her life.  She requires a special diet as well.  Please ask the adoption staff for details about Paisley's special needs.

Paisley is up-to-date on her vaccinations, is litter box trained, and has tested negative for FIV and FeLV.  She would do best in a home without young children.

You can find Paisley in Receiving.  Please ask one of the adoption staff to show you where Paisley is if you'd like to spend time with her.  She is a very sweet girl and will make a great cat companion.

Opt to Adopt Mango

Mango

Mango is a gorgeous cat!  She is a dilute tortoiseshell with medium hair and stunning green eyes.  As you can see from this photo, she loves to hang out in boxes.  She also loves to supervise her environment from high places; I can usually find her in the laundry room having a nap on the dryer or in a box on top of the cabinets.

Mango is a little shy with new people.  Once she gets to know you, though, she likes a little petting on her head.  If she really enjoys your company, she might even give you a few kisses!  Mango is also a good conversationalist.  She will happily tell you all about her day.

Mango is approximately 12 years old and has a lot of love to give.  Due to her status as a "senior" cat, she is part of the Perpet-U-Care program, which will cover a portion of her medical care for the rest of her life.  Mango prefers a quieter home without children.  She is already spayed, up-to-date on her vaccinations, litter box trained, and she tested negative for FIV and FeLV.

Mango would love a visit from you.  You can find her in the shelter's upstairs hallway.  I know that once you meet her, you will see why Mango is such a special girl.
