CCS's Opt To Adopt - CC

Meet CC! She is a year and a half old female grey tabby, who was transferred to us by Denver Dumb Friends League after her owner surrendered her due to a lack of time to care for a cat. CC was diagnosed with FeLV (feline leukemia virus) and luckily we have a room specifically for those cats, so she was transferred to us instead of being euthanized. She is contagious to other cats who do not already have FeLV and this means she does need to be the only cat in the home or needs to be with cats with the same diagnosis. Humans and non feline animals are not at risk. She LOVES to play. Catnip toys, laser pointers, ribbon chasers...you name it, she'll play with it! CC is a sweetheart and a great cuddle buddy. And to add to her cuteness, she is slightly cross-eyed. Is she the cat for you?

Fostering Adult Cats

Are you interested in fostering adult cats for CCS? We are currently looking for fosters for Hospice Cats, Temporary Care Cats, Cats with Special Needs, and Cats in need of Socialization. Grey Kitty's Birthday

Tagawa Gardens is hosting Grey Kitty's Birthday & Rescue Event on September 7th from 11am-3pm. It's a celebration of the many grey cats that have graced their gardens over the years. It's also a special opportunity to benefit the animals in our city that do not yet have loving, forever homes. Many animal care organizations from throughout the community will be present, and you can meet both staff and animals. Cat Care Society will have a booth there with a number of our adoptable cats and kittens. We will also have birthday cake for visitors. Come stop by and visit us!
