My First Birthday Party

I celebrated my first birthday on April 10. My foster mom had a dinner party to help me celebrate the big day! Lots of my friends came over. Here I am getting ready to enjoy the yummy lasagna dinner with Beth and Doug Hammer, Sera Jordan, Lisa Bonderson, Kathy Long, Tony Deagan, and Mark Olson.

After dinner it was time for my cake! My foster mom made a delicious "litter box cake" for us to enjoy. I got to scoop out the first piece all by myself!

This is what the cake looked like after we all had a piece. Everyone said it was a bit hard to try that first piece, but it really was tasty!

I got to open my presents after the cake. I had lots of fun things to open.

Everyone must know that I’m a really big Rockies fan, because everyone got me Rockies gear! Beth and Doug got me this great t-shirt and hat. Don’t I look sporty?

Julie and Lisa also got me a Rockies outfit -- this one looks like a real uniform! Go Rockies! We are going to our first Rockies game in June, and I can’t wait to share those pictures with you!
