My First Rockies Game


I finally got to go to my first Rockies game! We went to the game on June 16 against the Atlanta Braves. Unfortunately, the Rockies lost the game, but we had a lot of fun! I ate a hot dog and some nachos, and washed it all down with a nice cold beer... root beer, of course! I went with my foster mom, Bethany and our friend Tony.

We had good seats behind home plate, so I got to see lots of the action. Here I am rooting the Rockies on! I really like the chants that the crowd does -- "Here we go, Rockies, here we go!"

The best part of the game was when I got to do "The Wave". I had to wait through almost the whole game before we did it, but when it finally got started I had a great time. I jumped up, threw my paws in the air, and meowed at the top of my lungs. It was so much fun -- look at me go!
