Nursing Home Visitations

Scientific studies show that animals help people live better, happier lives for many reasons. Animals love unconditionally and their unquestioning affection tends to make people feel more valuable as human beings. Cat Care Society volunteers take shelter cats to nursing care centers so the residents can enjoy feline companionship. The experience is not only rewarding for the residents and the cats but also for the volunteers who observe the positive interactions that occur.
