We have an #adoptionupdate from Tiffany who adopted Uncle (now Shadow Rumble Tum Zagyi, First of His Name, Heir to the Throne) in November 2025. Tiffany came to the shelter looking for an older female tabby but then stumbled across Shadow and immediately placed an adoption hold him for the next day.
“Shadow has adjusted really well to our home and quickly became the absolute ruler of his kingdom.
“Shadow sleeps in the bed with us at night, wakes me up for breakfast, and enjoys a good belly rub and tumble/play (we allow bunny kicks and small nibbles) before I go to work. He uses the litter box like a pro, and he’s been eating well.
“Shadow is a chatty, funny boy that zooms around the house, but comes for snuggles and a quick nap before taking off again. He can usually be found in my husband’s office, watching the birds and squirrels from the desk. While he prefers the carpeted stairs to the scratch pads we’ve bought, there have been no other behavioral problems.
“We’re more than grateful to Cat Care Society for taking such good care of our boy. He’s happy, healthy, and the purrfect (yes, I did that) addition to our tiny family ❤.”
