We have an #adoptionupdate from James who adopted Jessica (now Maeve) in February 2026. James came to CCS without a particular type of cat in mind but clearly found a purrfect match!
“She’s a bit of a couch potato during the day (literally my spot on the couch) after spending the first couple days in a bedroom I cleared out for her. She likes the mouse toy I was sent home with more than anything I got for her.
“She’s VERY food driven, will wake up and come running when I open wet food. She also will try to take food off of my plate while eating so now I put food down for her so we can eat together and it mitigates her thieving ways (which I adore). She also likes to loudly investigate the condo in the odd hours of the night.”
“She’s the best thing in my life. I LOVE my new little girl.”
