We have an #adoptionupdate from Nia who adopted Oliver this past April! Nia wasn’t looking for a specific cat when she started her search for a cat to add to her family, but when Nia saw Oliver on the CCS website, she fell in love. So, when she came to visit CCS, she was looking for Oliver, specifically. Oliver comes when he’s called by his name, so they decided to keep it, plus she just loves it.
“He has adjusted very well and very quickly! He made himself right at home. He lays with my dog and myself on my couch like he’s been there his whole life. He runs around and plays and snuggles up to me always.
“He’s been doing great! He’s been very happy and healthy so far – despite one time of throwing up because I changed his food too quickly but the vet said he should be fine and he has been since then! He eats in the morning and then in the afternoon when I get home from work – the same time as my dog. He loves his laser pointer and his little wand toy, but mostly he loves lounging around and napping all day! I think that’s his favorite pastime. He does enjoy going outside on his leash, though.
“I just appreciate your help finding my new little love. ❤ He was just the perfect addition to my little family and both him and I couldn’t be happier.”
