- 12-6 PM – Waived adoption fees on all adult cats (age 1+)

Beginning on Tuesday, August 5, Hill’s Pet Nutrition is matching donations dollar for dollar up to $10,000. Which means your gift can go twice as far to help our cats. But the match only lasts until the $10,000 cap is reached across all participating shelters, so don’t wait!

Waived Adoption Fees
In recognition of national Clear the Shelters month, Cat Care Society is hosting a special one-day only adoption event on August 9 from noon to 6. Stop by the shelter that day to adopt your new feline friend at no cost. Adoption fees will be waived for all adult cats (1 year and older). Donations are encouraged if you are able.
Note: All adopters must still fill out an adoption application and be approved before bringing your new cat home. To save time at the shelter that day, we highly encourage filling out an application prior to your visit.
Pop-Up Shop and “Thrifty Kitty” Corner
We will also be hosting a small pop-up shop from noon to 2 PM just outside the building where you can find cat toys and supplies as well as Cat Care Society shirts and merch. Don’t miss the with a special “Thrifty Kitty” corner featuring fun cat-themed art and antiques to bring home. All purchases support the care of our shelter cats.
Treats and Toys Giveaway
We will also be hosting an enter-to-win drawing for a basket full of cat treats and toys! Anyone who donates, purchases an item from our pop-up shop, or adopts a kitty on August 9 will be entered to win!
