Happily Homed: Norman

Beth Dokolasa

We have an #adoptionupdate from Rosanne who adopted Norman in May 2021! Rosanne came to CCS looking for a higher-needs cat who she could give a good home.

“Four years later, Norman is my absolute best buddy. We’ve moved together to Kentucky and he is living his best life watching the squirrels and birds through the window from his cat tree. He puts up with me taking his picture every time he is doing something cute (i.e. constantly). I work from home and we have a ritual where he has to “work” with me for fifteen minutes every morning.

“He loves running up and down the stairs here and is very very fast for his size. He loves playing with string toys by sitting on them and waiting for me to try to get them away from him (he is very strong!). His favorite place in the evening is sitting on my chest and purring.

“Norman is a ridiculously photogenic cat. I make art, stickers, and greeting cards with his face for friends and family. He gets paid in treats and attention but says he wants a raise.”

Have you adopted from CCS in the past? We’d love to hear how it’s going! Send us your adoption success stories (and photos!) to be featured in our #adoptionupdate series on social media or on our website.
