We have an #adoptionupdate from Alayna who adopted Pippa in September 2025. While at the shelter, Pippa was part of our Lonely Hearts Club—a group of cats our staff believes need extra help finding their forever homes. These cats may be older, less eye-catching, have specific medical needs, or have simply been overlooked. Despite their challenges, we know they have so much love to give, and Pippa is the perfect example of that!
“Pippa has been the best girl!! She loves taking naps in odd positions, hanging in her hammock, and watching the world from the catio. She still attacks the heck out of some wand toys and goes feral for a Churu. Cat TV is one of her favorite things and I’m not sure the paw prints all over the screen are ever coming off haha.
“She loves to snuggle between my legs (as close as she can without actually laying on me lol) and has quite the purr. Got her to wear a cowgirl hat for Halloween which she was NOT thrilled about lol. She’s also quite the ice cream thief if you’re not paying attention (learned that the hard way).
“Love, love, love her :))”
Have you adopted from CCS in the past? We’d love to hear how it’s going! Send us your adoption success stories (and photos!) to be featured in our #adoptionupdate series on social media or on our website.
