We have an #adoptionupdate from Molly who adopted Scampie (now Radar) in October 2025.
“The day I came to the shelter I was just there to play with the kitties and kill some time. I had been looking at adopting a senior cat for awhile, but something about this kitten stole my heart – so I decided to put a hold on him, think about it for a day, and make sure I wasn’t making a rush decision. Mostly surprised I ended up with a kitten when I had initially had my eyes on older cats.
“Radar has adjusted well and quickly to his new home. Initially, I was a bit concerned about how my other 2 cats would react – but there really haven’t been any issues. He is using the litter box without issues, eating well, and always wants to snuggle.
“He is very playful and particularly likes these cloth multi colored balls that he can carry all over the house. He also seems to enjoy playing with the simple things (string, boxes, paper bags) more than fancy toys we bought. Radar plays well with one of our other cats (Moochie), and they like to chase each other upstairs and downstairs. His health is good, his appetite is endless, and he seems to be fascinated every time we open the dishwasher because he tries to jump in.”
