We have an #adoptionupdate from Jeanne who adopted Pippa in December 2022. Jeanne saw Pippa’s photo on Instagram as a part of our Foster Friday posts—she had been in foster care for two years.
“Pippa has adjusted very well to her new home. Pippa was very shy initially. In fact, she was described as somewhat “feral.” It took about a year and a half before she finally revealed herself to be a lap kitty. Now she likes warm cozy bagel beds, laps, snacks and watching squirrels.
“We hope Pippa’s story encourages people to take a chance on shy kitties. She’s turned out to be a little love bug who still drools when she gets brushed and scratched under the chin. It’s been a joy to watch her “come out of her shell” and be willing to show her affection to her people.”
Have you adopted from CCS in the past? We’d love to hear how it’s going! Send us your adoption success stories (and photos!) to be featured in our #adoptionupdate series on social media or on our website.
