We have an #adoptionupdate from Lianhua who adopted Noah (now Sandwich, a.k.a. Sammy) in October 2025. Originally, Lianhua and their husband didn’t have a particular cat in mind but as soon as they saw a particular photo of Sammy on an adoption site, they made it their mission to be the ones to adopt him.
“From baseline, he has adjusted incredibly well and we are grateful that he has found comfort in us despite having a rough start in life. It was clear early on that we were in for a challenge with how often his survival instincts went into overdrive with simple tasks we do around our home, but all it truly takes is patience and calm.
“Sammy is an adorable, healthy, and sneaky boy! He looooves laying in his window hammocks to soak up sunshine and napping, frequently plays with felted pool balls on his kitty-sized pool table, and insists on eating kibble despite only having two teeth. He has rejected every wet food we have offered, except Churu, of course!
“He is truly a little trooper and has been a symbiotic part of our lives!”
