We have an #adoptionupdate from Alyssa who adopted Bella this past April! Alyssa wasn’t looking for any particular kind of cat when she visited CCS but Bella was the right fit and has adjusted very well!
“She was eating and drinking just fine and using her litter box as soon as I brought her home. She seemed very happy right away.
“She’s been doing wonderful. When I adopted her she was having a severe allergy issue and I’m happy to say that with the medication and prescription food it has cleared up. Her paws have stopped hurting and have cleared up, her hair stopped coming out in small clumps, and she is no longer super itchy. Bella is also at a healthy weight and is eating very well. She loves to cuddle and is always on my lap when I’m reading, gaming, or doing homework. She hops in bed with me every night as well and snuggles up with my hand all night long.
“She loves lounging around on her favorite chair and even comes to my church and hangs out every once in a while when I’m working on things. The only downside is I’m pretty sure many of my friends now only come over to snuggle with her rather than hang out with me :).
“I’m so grateful the Cat Care Society put so much effort into treating her so that once I brought her home she would be set up for success. She’s such a wonderful cat and deserves a fun and happy life despite her health issues.”
Thank you, Alyssa! We appreciate your kind words and for giving Bella such a loving home.
