Happily Homed: Snickers (Pedro)

We have an #adoptionupdate from David who adopted Pedro (changed to Snickers or Sir Snickerton) in October 2006! David wasn’t looking for a specific type of cat when he came into CCS.

“Snickers loved his new home. He would run, play fetch, even bring toys to you to play with him. And when not playing he was the best cuddle/lap cat.

“Snickers loved his home. He was never sick, and just an overall great cat. Didn’t shred the furniture, or have any bad habits. Would greet you at the door and jump in your arms. He always knew it was Xbox time from the ding and would come running to be a lap cat. His favorite toy was a straw of all things. His morning ritual included the required fresh tub water. He never did learn how to roll over when playing in the dirt, he always needed to stop, stand, and flip. He also figured out how to get under the table, but not back out. And he always had to be on the tallest thing in the room.

“He recently passed away at the age of 19 from a neurological issue affecting his legs, and ability to walk without falling over. He was the best and will be missed immensely.”

It sounds like Snickers led a wonderful life, and we appreciate hearing your update, David.

Have you adopted from CCS in the past? We’d love to hear how it’s going! Send us your adoption success stories (and photos!) to be featured in our #adoptionupdate series on social media or on our website.
