We have an #adoptionupdate from Beth who adopted Xavia (now Sprite, because she reminded them of a forest fairy) in January 2025! They came to CCS looking for an adult cat who had a tough start. This kitty was younger than they normally might adopt (she is now 3), but her feisty attitude and shelter history ” spoke” to them.
“Sprite, is very independent. She loves sitting in windows and on the back of the couch in her special spot. She seeks out affection, but isn’t a fan of sitting on laps or being held. She loves her cat nip sock and fishing pole and is a vigorous scratcher, using her post!
“As a Torti, Sprite prefers to be an only cat. She enjoys sleeping on top of our box turtle’s tank, sharing the heat lamp.
“We are long time supporters of the CCS and will continue to support their tireless efforts providing much needed care for cats in need.”
Thank you so much, Beth!
Have you adopted from CCS in the past? We’d love to hear how it’s going! Send us your adoption success stories (and photos!) to be featured in our #adoptionupdate series on social media or on our website.
