We have an #adoptionupdate from Crystal who adopted Mango (now Grimm) in July 2026. They came to CCS looking for a black cat and they had their eye on Grimm before they arrived. Once they met him, they fell in love.
“He was so sweet and full of personality that we knew he was the perfect fit for our family. It really felt like the stars aligned and brought us together.
“Grimm has been doing wonderfully! He has a big brother, Alton, who is an 11-year-old domestic shorthair. The adjustment period took a little time, as expected, but they have become great companions. These days, they love sitting together and watching the world go by through the window, and they spend plenty of time wrestling and playing with each other. It’s been amazing to see their bond grow.
“Everything has been going great. Grimm has adjusted very well to his routine and has had no issues with eating, drinking, or using his litter box. One funny thing we discovered is that he absolutely loves having ice in his water. It’s become a little quirk of his that makes us smile!
“He also really loves spring toys and toys with bells! He loves sleeping in our bed (usually on top of my head) and is always ready for a cuddle! We’re so grateful to have Grimm in our family, and we appreciate everything the shelter did to help us find him. He has been a wonderful addition to our home!”
