About Paws on the Green
Paws on the Green (POTG) is Cat Care Society’s biennial golf tournament benefiting the cats of CCS. This four-man scramble tournament allows individuals and teams to hit the green while playing for a great cause.
This year we’re excited to return to Homestead Golf Course, an inviting executive course in Lakewood, perfect for occasional players and avid golfers alike.
The event will kick off with a continental breakfast, followed by a shotgun start (all teams tee off simultaneously from different holes). After you finish 18-holes (complete with some special contests), we invite you to join us back at the clubhouse for a buffet lunch and prizes.
Sign up as an individual or put together a group of four feline-loving friends. Tickets include a golf cart, breakfast, lunch, and drink ticket.
All funds raised support Cat Care Society’s mission to be a safe and enriching place for all cats on their journey to a loving home.
Please note: Donor Advised Funds (DAF) can not be used to purchase tickets/sponsorships as IRS regulations prohibit donors from receiving personal benefit as a result of DAF gifts.
Course Add-ons
Team Bundle – $100 per team
Includes team move up, gong and dart board chipping challenge for all 4 players, and 8 mulligans
Team Move-up (included in team bundle only)
On a designated hole, each golfer will hit their first shot from a drop zone in the middle of the fairway.
Gong and Dart Board Chipping Challenges – $30
Up the fun with these two unique challenges along the course.
In the Gong Challenge, grab your best club, lock in on the massive gong target downrange, and fire away. Nail the shot, and you score bragging rights and a prize.
In the Dart Board Chipping Challenge, take a shot at our giant inflatable dart board by chipping a velcro ball using the club of your choice. Where your ball sticks on the dart board determines your tee position for the hole. Hit the bullseye for a huge advantage and be entered to win a prize!
Mulligans – $10 each
We all need a do-over sometimes. Up to 4 mulligans allowed per player.
Prize Draw Ticket – $20 each
Don’t miss your chance to win one of our amazing prizes (including a foursome to play again at Homestead Golf Course!). Put one or more tickets in the prize pulls for your favorite items. With a dozen items, there’s something for everyone to get excited about!
Sponsorships
Individual Hole Sponsorships – $350
We’ll display your cat’s photo and name on the sign at the tee box next to your designated hole, showcasing the lives transformed through Cat Care Society. It’s a special way to share your adoption story and support cats still waiting for their loving homes.
Business Sponsorships – $400-10,000
Partner with Cat Care Society as a Paws on the Green sponsor and connect with a passionate community of animal lovers. Sponsorship opportunities include event recognition, on-course signage, and meaningful exposure while helping provide lifesaving care for cats in need.
